World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s first update is scheduled to be released on January 24th, which will include several features such as UI updates, accessibility updates, and a game balance. The Trading Post, which is a free battle pass-like feature, won’t be available until February 1st. With this feature, players have the opportunity to acquire a new currency called Trader’s Tender by completing monthly challenges. This currency can then be used to purchase various cosmetics such as armor sets, weapon appearances, pets, and mounts. Logging in once each month grants 500 Trader’s Tenders, and by completing additional monthly challenges an additional 500 can be earned. As a bonus, anyone who has purchased the Dragonflight expansion will receive 500 Trader’s Tenders.
The Storm’s Fury world event will also be available on January 24th and rewards players with Essence of the Storm, which can be exchanged for new rewards like the Skyskin Hornstrider mount. Blizzard has revealed their content roadmap for the remainder of the year, which includes two major updates with new raids and zones, as well as additional story content and events through more frequent smaller updates.
