It Looks as if Season 2 of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Might Include a Mythic Dungeon

As Patch 10.1 quickly approaches, rumors have been circulating about season 2 of Dragonflight and which dungeons will be included. An avid World of Warcraft gamer may have found a hint pointing to a potential return of one of them. With the recent announcement of the removal of the Conquest and Valor cap in World of Warcraft, the initial season of Dragonflight appears to be coming to an end. Players have enjoyed the challenge of the current set of dungeons, but only half of the dungeon roster has been explored.

For Patch 10.1, fans of World of Warcraft will be saying goodbye to dungeons such as the notoriously difficult Ruby Life Pools, as four distinct Dragonflight instances take the spotlight. Brackenhide Hollow, Neltharus, and the Halls of Infusion are all set to appear in the Mythic dungeons of Dragonflight Season 2; however, which dungeons from previous World of Warcraft expansions will be included is still a mystery.

Mdevil1305’s recent find on the World of Warcraft subreddit implies one dungeon from the Legion expansion may be included in Season 2. This dungeon, The Arcway, is sure to make a few players unhappy as those active in Legion generally have strong views regarding it. It is widely accepted that players prefer shorter dungeons for their Mythic keystones, which is why Mists of Tirna Scithe was so popular in the Shadowlands. In contrast, The Arcway is on the lengthy side.

The Arcway, with its five bosses and intricate progression, may not be the number one pick for many World of Warcraft players, however, the presence of the Chrono Shard trinket upgradeable to fit the item levels of Dragonflight implies that Blizzard has some plans for the dungeon in Season 2. Although these are only hypotheses, should Dragonflight Season 1 dungeons be taken as a reference, then the other three dungeons likely to be seen in Season 2 could be Maw of Souls, Mogu’shan Vaults, and Skyreach. Note that Blizzard has yet to officially reveal any Dragonflight Season 2 dungeons.

Blizzard has been concentrating on bringing the Trading Post function to World of Warcraft and priming the pump for the upcoming Orc and Human Heritage Armor to come in Patch 10.0.7. Although the expansion of Dragonflight is relatively new, many devotees have faith that the company is making the correct decisions and they have a positive outlook that this will persist in the second season of Dragonflight.

The massively popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft, is now available to play on PC.
