The Witcher 3 Money Farm: How to Get Crowns Quickly
A player of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt demonstrated their approach to earning money by recording a video and sharing it on social media. After the video was shared, other fans gave their compliments and also provided some tips and tricks for other gamers of The Witcher 3 to consider.
When it was released in 2015, The Witcher 3 was highly praised by both gamers and critics to be one of the top offline RPGs on PC and gaming consoles. Players assume the role of Geralt of Rivia and are required to travel through the Northern Realms, engaging in battles with monsters and humans, and uncovering the stories of the main game and its two expansions. An astute gamer managed to surprise everyone when they proudly showed how they had managed to fill Geralt’s pockets with crowns, the main currency of the game, despite the fact Witchers are not known for accumulating large amounts of money.
An interesting bug has recently been discovered in The Witcher 3, where it gives Geralt some unexpected highlights in his hair. Check it out here!
On the r/Witcher3 subreddit, DismalQuarter13 posted a montage showcasing Geralt living up to the “Butcher of Blaviken” title. He used a few tricks to clear a base in the Toussaint region, the setting of the Blood and Wine DLC, while the Patch 4.02 update of The Witcher 3 still allows the method to work. Geralt took advantage of a tight corridor and used the Yrden and Igni signs to eliminate an enemy wave. Instead of engaging the leader of the hanse, he utilized a portal in the basement of the building to cause the enemies to respawn when the leader is still alive. With this, Geralt accumulated thousands of crowns quickly by looting the bandits and wolves that show up.
The build devised by DismalQuarter13 and shared on r/Witcher3 received almost 1,000 upvotes, with other players complementing them on their method. In the comments, other Witcher 3 users provided their own builds involving armor, enchantments, and mutations that are beneficial for farming crowns. This build featured items from both expansions, which essentially made Geralt into a mighty battlemage during massacres.
Though the next installment of The Witcher is still in the distant future, gamers can still get their hands on the updated version of The Witcher 3. With the recent PC patch increasing the use of DLSS 3 for Nvidia graphics cards, DismalQuarter13 and others can now enjoy the game with its improved visuals. Farming crowns has never been easier!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can be obtained now for PCs, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
