Leak About Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Reveals Incorporation Of Live Service Elements And A Battle Pass
A screenshot from the unannounced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was recently posted on 4chan, displaying the game’s main menu and indicating potential online service components that have not been confirmed by Rocksteady Games.
Sources verified by VGC have revealed that players will have the option to select their character, personalize their appearance, and pick their own loadout when playing. Additionally, some in-game currencies can be seen at the top of the image, as well as the ability to select a chapter and either play it solo, or matchmake with others to share in the co-op mode.
A source familiar with the development process has informed VGC that the currencies in the game are various XP levels that can be employed to strengthen a character or open up access to new skill tree elements. Conversely, the Battle Pass is only said to include superficial items, such as skins for the Suicide Squad characters.
According to an anonymous informant who spoke to VGC, players “start off great” in the game rather than “debuffed and weak,” and may even be able to reach the heights of power seen in Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady’s latest title. Exactly how much this new title will build on ideas and features explored in Arkham Knight, however, is still unknown.
Unhappily, no information was given about the multiple game modes – which can be viewed with the Game Mode button on the left side of the screen – or the extent and range of customizations and loadouts in the game. Though Rocksteady had previously declared that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League would be a shared experience, no details were revealed concerning the live service components. Gotham Knights is also a cooperative-centered experience that didn’t have a Battle Pass at its debut.
With an envisioned launch in May 2023, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is still to be given full gameplay details. The newest trailer from Suicide Squad verified that Kevin Conroy will take up his part as Batman for one final time after his passing in November 2022.
