Prime Gaming Reveals World of Warcraft Reward for May 2023

Amazon Prime subscribers have the opportunity to grab a World of Warcraft collectible item for free during most of May. This rare item is available to any player who has a subscription to the popular World of Warcraft game. Prime Gaming has just made the announcement.

Recently, Prime Gaming declared that it would be providing free World of Warcraft rewards throughout the next twelve months. The initial offer was the Big Battle Bear- a mount that was obtainable solely by redeeming a code from the now-defunct World of Warcraft trading card game.

It appears that World of Warcraft: Dracthyr players may soon have the opportunity to add a new customization option to their dragonflight character.

Amazon Prime customers can receive the Lil’ XT battle pet until May 25. This pet is inspired by the XT-002 Deconstructor boss in Wrath of the Lich King’s Ulduar raid. This pet speaks the same childish lines as its larger counterpart. It also has special violent interactions with the Clockwork Rocket Bot, the Crashin’ Thrashin Racer Controller, and the Toy Train Set.

Initially, Lil XT could be obtained from the Battle.net Shop. It was also given away to Korean gamers who purchased StarCraft: Remastered, and as a component of the See You Later Bundle from 2018. Unfortunately, in 2019 the pet was removed from the shop, so the only way to obtain it was from the Landro’s Lil’ XT card from the World of Warcraft TCG, which granted an identical version of the robotic companion.

The World of Warcraft community has been divided with the latest limited-time giveaways. Most gamers are delighted to receive rewards which would otherwise cost them hundreds or even thousands of dollars, however, some who already had them are displeased that their exclusive items are being given away for free. It appears that this trend of Twitch Drops and Prime Gaming rewards from World of Warcraft will likely continue in the future, much to the dismay of the unhappy players.

In anticipation of the launch of Embers of Neltharion, World of Warcraft is hosting two Twitch Drop campaigns which will reward players with the Ethereal Portal toy and the Blazing Hippogryph mount. To get these collectibles, players will need to watch four hours of Dragonflight on Twitch during the first and second weeks of the Patch’s launch. These items were previously only available as pricey TCG exclusives, so World of Warcraft fans should take the opportunity to acquire them.

The PC version of World of Warcraft is now accessible.
