Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are hoping to see the Infected game mode back in the game. There are a variety of standard game modes that are part of the Call of Duty series, such as Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, and Kill Confirmed, that Modern Warfare 2 offers.
The popular first-person shooter Modern Warfare 2 has two distinctive modes, Prisoner Rescue and Knock Out, with Activision regularly changing the playlists to provide gamers with more options than the core ones. Invasion is also available, where teams of 20 players plus 20 AI opponents compete in large-scale battles. Some Call of Duty admirers is hoping to see the return of Infected in Modern Warfare 2.

This game mode had been offered in other Call of Duty games, particularly in Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare from 2019. The goal of the Infected game is for players to spread a virus to the other players in the lobby, while the other team struggles to stay alive. Accb1332 sought out the opinions of other Reddit users, and it appears many of them would love to see the Infected mode come back in Modern Warfare 2.
Infected is a multiplayer mode in Call of Duty that some people consider to be their favorite, while others consider it a good party mode.
