Hogwarts Legacy Edit Adds Alohomora Lock Puzzle to Harry Potter Scene [Games]

A Harry Potter fan created a comical mashup of Hogwarts Legacy and the movie franchise’s first installment. The video shows the Alohomora lock puzzle being incorporated into a scene from the film, which Hogwarts Legacy fans and movie buffs will certainly find amusing.

At the start of 2021, Hogwarts Legacy was released and it was a huge success. It was greatly praised by both hardcore fans of Harry Potter and those who didn’t know the series well. The game was highly praised for its detailed graphics and amazing gameplay, becoming one of the top RPG experiences of the year and surpassing sales expectations. Even though the game and the film franchise are different, it was only a matter of time until the two worlds were combined.

Using creative editing, the Alohomora lock puzzle has been worked into a scene from the first Harry Potter movie, The Sorcerer’s Stone. As Harry, Ron, and Hermione flee from peril, they come across a door that neither Harry nor Ron can unlock. Hermione, though, casts the Alohomora spell on the lock and instead of the scene carrying on, the clip cuts to the challenge that players have to solve in order to correctly execute the spell in Hogwarts Legacy.

It’s quite amusing to consider the notion of the Alohomora lock puzzle being part of the films and books. For some Hogwarts Legacy gamers, the challenge can become tiresome quickly, so it would be a living nightmare to attempt to accomplish it in the real world, especially in a situation where one has to rush, like the scene from the movie. Although there are a lot of elements from Hogwarts Legacy that fans would love to experience in person, it’s likely safe to assume that this particular lock puzzle is not one of them.

The Harry Potter series has become one of the most prosperous franchises ever and its resurgence has been reignited with the release of Hogwarts Legacy.
