The 2023 DICE Awards have placed God of War Ragnarok at the front of the line in terms of nominations.

The entire event of this year will be broadcasted by IGN on February 23, taking place at Resorts World in Las Vegas to mark the conclusion of the DICE Summit. Stella Chung and Greg Miller will be the hosts.

The 2023 DICE Awards have nominated a total of 61 video games across 23 categories, with God of War Ragnarok taking the lead with 12 nominations. Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring follow with eight and seven nominations respectively. The other contenders for Game of the Year are Stray and Vampire Survivors, while Immorality, Vampire Survivors, Moss: Book II, and Tunic have earned four nominations each. All the nominees were chosen by members of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. AIAS President Meggan Scavio thanked their peer panelists for their time and effort in judging the games and congratulating the finalists. Last year’s DICE Awards were led by Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and It Takes Two won Game of the Year, whereas God of War won the same award in 2018. The 26th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards will be streamed by IGN on February 23, from Resorts World in Las Vegas, and hosted by Stella Chung and Greg Miller.
