Revealing More Information on Dehya in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact has shared another video that shares more details on the Pyro character, Dehya, who is a five-star character and was released with version 3.5. The other five-star unit, Cyno, has had his first re-run since he was first launched back in 3.1.
At the recent livestream for Genshin Impact, it was announced that Dehya would be joining the Standard Banner with the release of the 3.6 update, following in the footsteps of Tighnari’s 3.1 addition. HoYoverse has already announced two new characters, Baizhu and Kaveh, that will be joining the roster when the update is released.
The Genshin Impact official YouTube channel has shared a new video which details Dehya’s characteristics and how she plays. An Eremite from the Sumeru deserts, she is renowned for being a merciless fighter. Nonetheless, the previously released Genshin Impact trailer showed that Dehya has a gentle side, having used all her finances to aid an orphanage in Sumeru. As far as her battle prowess is concerned, Dehya is likely an A or S-tier Pyro DPS character whose speciality lies in her Elemental Burst.
When Dehya enters the Blazing Lioness State, she abandons her weapon and engages in hand-to-hand combat for a short duration. During this time, her Normal Attacks become infused with Pyro, which enables them to cause AoE harm to nearby opponents. One of her Passive Talents, The Sunlit Way, also allows her to raise the movement velocity of her fellow characters. Dehya is among the few characters who possess this ability.
Her Elemental Skill can produce a Fiery Sanctum field effect that causes harm when an enemy is struck. Although she appears to be a decent five-star character, many aficionados have voiced that they will pass up her banner since she will be available on the Standard Banner after 3.5 ends. This implies that it will be more difficult to obtain her constellation later on as it is unlikely she will be put back on a Limited Character Banner.
Leaks have surfaced that Dehya will be rewarded the Brilliance of Dew artifact set in Genshin Impact update 3.6. This set will amplify the potency of the holder’s Elemental Skill and Burst each time they sustain damage. The strength of this buff is further increased if the character is not active on the battlefield, which Dehya can do as her Molten Inferno allows her to take damage even when she is swapped out.
Genshin Impact can be played on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version currently in progress.
