Genshin Impact Map: Complete Guide to Teyvat Regions and Fontaine Nation

An avid Genshin Impact admirer developed a map that illustrates all of the explorable domains, including Fontaine nation which is about to be released. The game’s primary continent is known as Teyvat and consists of seven distinct major regions. Up to today, HoYoverse has only unveiled four of them, with Sumeru being the most up-to-date.

It has been established that Genshin Impact will be adding a new major region to its game annually, with Fontaine being the next one. During the past few months, many reliable sources have supplied a mass of details pertaining to the region, such as its launch date, where it is situated and the playable characters.

The most recent Genshin Impact update 3.6 has added a placeholder model of the upcoming region of Fontaine, which will border some of the current regions in the game. Standing on certain viewpoints in Liyue and Sumeru, players can have a sneak peek of the Hydro nation. A Reddit user Substantial_Fan_9582 has shared a satellite map that shows all four current regions, including the placeholder model of Fontaine. Going by the images, Travelers can anticipate that Fontaine will be one of the largest regions in Genshin Impact when version 4.0 is released.

It has been confirmed that Fontaine’s symbol is Hydro, indicating that it will be abundant with lakes and rivers. There has been some surprise expressed about the extent of hills and mountains, with some travelers suggesting this implies the presence of many waterfalls. A prior beta leak indicated that the principal city of Fontaine will be affixed to a vertical platform, with waterfalls encompassing it.

Leaks concerning Genshin Impact recently revealed the addition of 10 new characters to the playable roster during the Fontaine story arc. Among these are the Hydro Archon Focalors, who has been mentioned repeatedly in the primary narrative, as well as Neuvillette, Lyney, and Lynette.

Neuvillete is the Chief Justice of Fontaine, similar to Jean, the Acting Grandmaster of Mondstadt. Two characters, Lyney and Lynette, were both mentioned in an earlier teaser for Genshin Impact. Rumors have it that Lyney will have a five-star Pyro rating, while his sister Lynette is expected to have a lower four-star rarity.

The Genshin Impact game has already been released for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Switch version currently in the works.
