Genshin Impact Leak: Eula and Klee Re-runs Hinted for Future Updates
HoYoverse, the developer of Genshin Impact, has a pattern of releasing re-runs of certain characters every 5 to 6 updates, and an online leak has shed some light on which characters might be featured on the Limited Character Banner in the near future. This offers players an opportunity to secure characters they may have missed the first time around.
Genshin Impact’s current cycle of banners presents a fresh five-star character, Baizhu, as well as one of the earliest characters on the roster, Ganyu who utilizes a Cryo bow. This update also includes Kaveh, a four-star Sumeru architect, as a new addition.
SOME MAY DISAGREE: Certain Genshin Impact Gamers Not Satisfied with the 4-star Rarity System
HutaoLover77, a prominent Genshin Impact leaker, has divulged new information pertaining to which characters will be re-released in version 3.8. The two playable characters set to be available are Eula, a Cryo claymore user, and Klee, a Pyro wielder. Eula is a member of the renowned Lawrence Clan, and currently serves as the captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. She holds the record for the longest consecutive time of being absent from banner updates, with twelve updates having passed since her last appearance. This was during version 2.3, when Eula and Albedo, a Geo user, were both released at the same time in a double banner.Eula’s last re-run was approximately 500 days ago
By contrast, Arataki Itto, another Geo character from the 2nd banner cycle of the same update, has had two re-runs since then. According to the leaker, Eula will be the focal point of Genshin Impact version 3.8 and will likely be given a Story Quest. The likelihood of her playing a major role at the finale of the Sumeru arc is probably the primary cause for HoYoverse postponing the launch of Eula’s banner.
Players were convinced that the version 3.8 of Pyro user Klee’s game would be the stage for the Golden Apple Archipelago, a yearly occasion introduced by the powerful Mondstadt mage Alice, Klee’s mother.
HutaoLover77 has suggested that the beloved character, Sangonomiya Kokomi, who is known to be a Hydro catalyst user, might be a part of the upcoming Genshin Impact patch 3.8. She had been featured in update 3.0, when she was seen together with Tighnari, the wielder of a Dendro bow.
Genshin Impact can now be played on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version currently in development.
