Tracking Down the Genshin Impact 3.4 Release and Upkeep Schedule
The 3.4 Update for the highly-anticipated Genshin Impact is fast approaching and with it comes two all-new characters and a selection of other exciting content. This has generated great interest among fans to discover when the Update will be released and what the maintenance schedule will be.
On January 18, 2023, at 06:00 am (UTC+8), the Genshin Impact 3.4 Update maintenance will begin. This maintenance period will last a total of five hours, however, during this downtime, players will be receiving 60 Primogems per hour. This yields a total of 300 Primogems as compensation for what is expected to be a 5-hour maintenance. Should the maintenance finish early, the developers have stated that players will still receive the minimum reward of 300 Primogems, yet this could rise if the maintenance lasts longer than expected. In contrast to some other content in the game, the update will be released simultaneously on all servers.
This update is quite big and players will be gifted two new Dendro characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao. Additionally, a new area in the Sumeru region called the Desert of Hadramaveth will be available for exploration. While these additions are exciting, the star of the show is the returning Lantern Rite event which is a fan favorite. miHoYo is also making progress on the Trading Card Game (TCG) which was introduced in a previous update, with two new cards for Klee and Beido.
With just a few hours left until the new update is available, fans can look forward to Alhaitham and Yaoyao, as well as Xiao, Yun Jin, and Xinyan receiving banner reruns. This means that everyone will be able to experience the new characters in action shortly.
