Fortnite Players Discover New Way to Detect Bush Campers
Players of Fortnite have come up with a strategy to detect bush campers without having to inspect each one. The game has been around for a few years and has been able to make a reputation in the battle royale realm. Its initial differentiating factor was the building mechanism, but it has recently been supplemented with Zero Build Mode. Despite that, there are still some peculiarities that make it stand out, such as original skins, recognizable emotes, and unconventional weapons and environmental aspects.
The popular game mode of Fortnite is, of course, the Battle Royale. The goal is to be the last one standing, and to achieve a Victory Royale. While it is true that players are encouraged to eliminate enemies, they can opt to wait out the storm and make it to the top this way. This strategy has been around since the game’s inception, even before the Legendary Bush item was taken out of circulation. Although the Bush item isn’t available anymore, some players will still hide in the environment’s larger bushes, a tactic similar to the original bush camping but with a few differences.
Players of Fortnite may be caught off guard by bush campers, who can take them out with a single shot. To combat this, they can now employ the Lock On Pistol to locate the campers in their hiding spots from a distance.
The Lock On Pistol in Fortnite has the capability of locking onto an enemy target from up to 50 meters away, regardless of whether they are hiding in a bush or not. Therefore, players that camp in bushes will need to be cautious if they see an opponent wielding this weapon and pointing it in their direction, as they may be the targets of an incoming hit.
Gamers have expressed apprehensions about this tactic, considering it is almost impossible to detect another player when they are concealed in a bush without getting in the bush oneself. They fear that this strategy may lead to a false accusation of cheating, as the person fired upon by the Lock On Pistol may not be sure of how they were located in the first place. Fortunately, Epic Games reviews submitted Fortnite videos, so this should not be a problem.
Fortnite can now be played on an array of different platforms, including Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
