Rumor of Star Wars-Themed Abilities Surfacing in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

As Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 nears its start, many leaks are beginning to surface. One of these leaks implies that there will be Star Wars abilities added to the weapon wheel. Although Star Wars characters and items have already been featured in Fortnite battle royale, this time, it appears that the powers will be varied.

The well-known Fortnite leaker on Twitter has hinted that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will include force powers such as those seen in Star Wars characters like Rey, Luke, and Kylo Ren. The collaboration between Star Wars and Fortnite dates back to 2019, a mere two years after the battle royale released–marking one of the title’s biggest crossovers. Epic Games is now looking for more ways to include Star Wars in the game, potentially taking a cue from the My Hero Academia Deku Smash and Dragon Ball Z Kamehameha. The upcoming Star Wars crossover is speculated to feature force powers inspired by the characters.

A rumor has been circulating that possible Resident Evil skins may be coming to Fortnite in Chapter 4 Season 2. This has not been officially confirmed yet but is something to keep an eye on.

Recently, ShiinaBR tweeted that the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will feature a Star Wars crossover, as well as certain special powers that players could use to win. Additionally, iFireMonkey has given numerous hints with regard to what the collaboration could include and there is the possibility of three characters being referenced as holograms. Data mining has revealed two male skins, given the codenames Cirrus Vine and Plot Twist, and the returning Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Star Wars universe is being extended by Disney, and Fortnite is now showcasing some of the latest characters. The two mysterious holograms appear to be associated with the new crossover, and it is still unknown if players will get the opportunity to use Jedi or Sith force powers. This has not been a part of earlier Star Wars events, but Epic Games might introduce an even balance between the two. It could be interesting for players who have previously been using the anime collaboration powers in Fortnite to see this addition to the loadout possibilities.

It is imaginable that Chapter 4 Season 2 of Fortnite will feature the lightsaber melee weapons, which are usually included in the Star Wars crossovers. Although there is no official word as to when Star Wars will come to Fortnite again, leaks point to a sooner rather than later occurrence.

The popular game Fortnite is available on a variety of platforms, including Mac, mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
