Cameron Monaghan stated that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s narrative will cause protagonist Cal Kestis to reach his limit.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to be released on March 17 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.

Recently, Cameron Monaghan, who plays Cal Kestis in the upcoming EA title, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, gave an interview to Game Informer. He spoke of the game’s story, its thematic elements, how the team balanced the Star Wars canon, and how the game differs from its predecessor. Monaghan highlighted how this story is more intricate than that of 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, with complex moral ambiguities and intense interpersonal conflicts. He said that he had wanted to present Cal with challenging scenarios that might make him “break” since the first game was released.

While he was not too specific about the situations, he hinted that the story is about having a family and then certain conditions changing, which leads to different opinions on how to address them. Additionally, he touched on the fact that there are a lot of new characters that will affect the story. Lastly, Monaghan discussed how the story should stand on its own, so that even if someone has not interacted with the Star Wars IP, they would still comprehend the story. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches March 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
