A Reddit user by the name of burnttoastonbred posted a screenshot of a loading screen background from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The image depicts numerous bullets being discharged, and nothing appears to be off. Activision and Infinity Ward have been subject to some criticism for their use of the original image in Modern Warfare 2. However, the recent post has addressed this, as all shells from the bullets have been eliminated, thus remedying the mistake visible in the previous design.

It appears some Call of Duty fans were not aware of the change, yet one was able to correctly guess that the original picture was of bullets with brass casings. Another gamer criticized the developers for fixing minor issues such as this, since it appears that players are still having problems with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It likely did not affect the timetable of the gameplay team for Modern Warfare 2, as this work was the responsibility of the art department.
