A promotional video has recently been released by Apex Legends, announcing an upcoming in-game event titled the Spellbound Collection
The game’s creator has declared that the outcomes of recent matches have been encouraging, as gamers have been performing better in terms of “kills”. As Respawn continues to experiment with matchmaking and introduces more events, the number of people playing the game is likely to increase before the start of the new season.
The new Spellbound Collection Event for Apex Legends is coming up, and a trailer was released to introduce the popular Control mode. It allows players to join forces in 9 vs. 9 battles to capture the control points on the map, and there are also daily challenges, time-sensitive cosmetics and Legendary skins for characters like Mad Maggie, Mirage, Seer, Vantage, and more. All 24 items will be available to collect during the two weeks of the event, and those who manage to get their hands on all of them can claim a special Heirloom for Seer called the “Showstoppers.” Players can also use Heirloom shards, which they can get by buying Apex packs, to craft the Mythic-tier cosmetic. There’s also the beloved Control mode that offers infinite respawns, and the new patch will bring 10 Welcome Challenges to teach the basics of Apex’s battle royale formula. Respawn is also running tests in matchmaking to create a more balanced experience, and they have found that players can get more kills in recent matches. This should help increase the player count of the game before the start of the next season.
