A Trailer Release Date for Destiny 2: Lightfall Strand is Upcoming
Bungie is set to launch a Destiny 2 trailer that will focus on the Strand subclasses and their combating abilities. This second set of powers derived from the Darkness, Strand presents a progressive prospect that Bungie could employ to abandon some conventional capabilities, including a grappling hook as one of the distinguished new attributes.
The newly released Destiny 2: Lightfall has been generating a lot of excitement with the introduction of a six-man activity, but the Strand abilities are undoubtedly the most significant aspect of the expansion. Just as Stasis became a defining feature of Beyond Light, Strand is expected to have the same impact on Lightfall, and it is not surprising that the Destiny community is eagerly awaiting more information about it.
Bungie is gradually increasing the advertising for Destiny 2 ahead of the Lightfall launch on February 28. The next promotional video, coming out on January 7, will give gamers a better idea of what Strand is and how it links to the other skills in the game. Previously, it was declared that some of the new combat features would be summoning and enemy displacement, but the trailer should provide a more comprehensive comprehension of what’s to come.
When anticipating the new Strand trailer, one should bear in mind that it may not be as all-encompassing as the Destiny 2: Lightfall Exotic showcase. The showcase was quite brief and didn’t present all the new content. It seems Bungie is more intent on creating a certain mood to the DLC instead, leaving players to find out all the goodies when it releases in late February.

It should be noted that not all aspects of life are ideal. For instance, some Destiny 2 Hunters have voiced their displeasure with the Strand Exotic. This piece of armor is seen as a PvP powerhouse with little to no PvE utility. It remains to be seen if Bungie will adjust the Exotic helmet before release, but it is not looking promising for Hunters at this time.
In the meantime, it is understandable that Destiny 2 isn’t neglecting its other subclasses now that a fresh one has been revealed. There are numerous new Exotics to be seen, with the Winterbite glaive being a standout. While it is uncertain if it falls victim to the same problems that plague Salvation’s Grip, it should be an interesting addition regardless.
The latest installment in the Destiny franchise, Destiny 2, can be experienced on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
